Robert Falcon Scott, British Antarctic Expedition (South Pole Expedition) on the ship Terra Nova, 1910 - 1913.
1911 - Ponies and sleds on the Great Ice Barrier with Scott. You can make out snow walls in the background which were built when making camp to shield the ponies from the wind. The figure in the foreground is arranging a line from which to dry clothing damp from sweat and melted snow.
