Polar Bear - Svalbard - 14

After picking at the seal carcass this bear decided to go and have a well earned rest on a near-by snow bank. The smooth snow makes a more comfortable place to sleep than the rocky and stony ground and may well help to cool the bear down in her big fur coat on this summer's day.
